The next destination of JFW Express revealed!!

The best part of planning an event is deciding on the next place of activity. So here I am, all bundled up in excitement as we are called for a meeting (believe me these are the only meetings I love). We are to decide the destination for our next edition! After hours of brainstorming and virtually touring almost all the cities in India, we unanimously arrived at the soul of South India – CHENNAI.

I have never been to the city before but I have heard different versions from different people. My dad still calls it Madras and fondly remembers the childhood days he spent at Sahukar Peth and never ending praises of Marina Beach. The over enthusiastic engineer friend of mine always worshipped Chennai as a Mecca of jobs in Automobile sector (and thankfully is currently working with BMW India). My brother found his wife at Chennai and was no wonder in awe with the city for reasons best known to him. And for every movie buff I know of, Chennai is the home to Rajnikanth Sir.

As for me, I want to visit the city for altogether different reasons, fore mostly to savor the most authentic South Indian cuisine the city offers; secondly I want to visit the temples in Chennai, purely for the architectural marvel they are and thirdly I want to visit a performing arts school and sit back to soak in the true cultural spirit of classical dance form – Kathak & Bharatnatyam.

Junior’s Fashion Week has chartered their ride and scheduled to arrive soon in Chennai. We have been to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and now the most cosmopolitan feather in our cap – Chennai. We hope to create the same affinity with parents and brands alike as we have done in our previous journeys. We are all geared up to create strategic relation with the folks at Chennai, and look forward to everlasting ties of association.

Here we focus on the summer trends that the children can follow with ease to appear cool and chic in the warm summers without having to compromise on their couture quotient. Kids’ fashion today is not just about the concern of mothers only, it is equally the concern of kids themselves, too.

We need to understand and respect that every child has its own unique taste and preferences when it comes to fashion. All we have to do is set examples so that they have a firm sense of what to wear or not to wear on a given occasion. After all kids’ are mini- us and great imitators!!

We suggest going for natural fabrics like cotton, linen, silk and cashmere these summery days. Pick hues from nature – ocean and forest – shades of blue, green, rose and that of sand. As for the designs, girls would look lovely in fluffy and floor length cuts would look fashionable and chic. And for boys, the classical style i.e. pants and trousers would look great!!

Let’s give you a visual tour of some of the trendiest outfits for summer this year!!

  1. Off Shoulder white dress with pretty pompoms!!

2.  The classy fluffy Jumpsuit!!

Brand Promotion – the JFW way!!

Fashion is an ever changing, dynamic and a creative minefield. A sudden outburst of designer creativity gives way to a whole new collection. But how do you reach to your audience with your ideas?? Fashion world is essentially a ‘see and buy’ platform. You have to be innovative, tasteful and lucid in expressing your brand idea to attract the ultimate consumer.

Every organization has its own way of promoting its brand associates. Junior’s Fashion Week is a part of the enterprising world of kids’ fashion. JFW is a platform where junior models showcase the brand and designer collection on the runway. It becomes an arena for direct brand engagement and awareness to a premium niche of direct consumers and fashion enthusiasts.

Statistically, in about 80% of the families, parents spend more on their kids than themselves. One of the major reasons for parents to refuse to buy a particular clothing line for their kid’s is because they don’t find quality clothes, comfortable fabric, foreign element and style that can hold their attention. As a result, a brand with a strong recognizable and luxurious image has better chances of holding parents attention.

In today’s era of digitally aware consumer audience and the emergence of a new target audience namely kids, it is imperative that being in the kids fashion world, you need to have a strong brand image to win and stay ahead in the competition.

Junior’s Fashion Week helps its brand associate in every aspect of branding. From launching a brand to showcase a new collection it helps to create a strong brand image. Exclusive brand windows help brands to display their collection in a manner it leaves an unforgettable memory in the minds of viewers. Bespoke brand consultancy helps brands to better their game and emerge more powerful in their marketing strategy. Runway showcase gives brand an opportunity to bring their collection into direct touch of their consumers and the celebrity endorsement accelerates the awareness of the brand manifolds. Since Junior’s Fashion Week is dedicated to the kids fashion and lifestyle industry it easily helps the associate brands to achieve niche marketing and allows brand pitching to the refined and absolute target audience.

Brand promotion is a great tool that creates news worthy advertising for the associate brands. Junior’s Fashion Week ensures to use proven integrated brand promotion activities to expose your brand in competitive marketplace. To showcase your brand at JFW, click here.

Hello! Colloquy.

The opposite of Networking is ‘NOT WORKING’, said someone smart.

For the first time in the kids’ fashion and lifestyle industry, Junior’s Fashion Week introduces Colloquy. It is about storytelling, sharing user experiences, persuasion and conversion all wrapped into one. Colloquy is an open pitching and networking session. Colloquy’s pivotal purpose is to bring together all the kids fashion enthusiasts, guest speakers from all walks of economy, delegates, and like-minded people on a platform where they can exchange ideas, experiences, laughs, discourses and make some friends.

Each domain in the economy, be it marketing, finance, branding or others, branches out differently with their own unique set of goals, business directives and constraints but their goals remain the same – Reaching the Consumers. It all starts with journaling our thoughts, observations and passion into a business plan with the central purpose of marketing our product to the consumers. Conversion is marketing’s biggest challenge. Creating a great product is one step, selling it to the consumers is next.

Colloquy brings to you a space where there is a seamless communication between the speakers and the delegates whose common point of talk would be how to influence consumers in junior’s fashion. It is a convention of intellects where kids’ fashion & lifestyle industry and its consumers will be discussed at length. It will be an informative and productive conclave for people who are on a look out for getting insights from the best gurus in the industry who have their own growth story to inspire and share.

To simply conclude the essence of Colloquy, it is an event designed to invite thought leaders from junior’s fashion industry who will share their success stories and inspire the pool of delegates invited to rejoice the company of these successful entrepreneurs and fellow members. It is a good opportunity to make new connections, get inspired and meet a pool of people who can be your new prospective employer or employee!!

Junior’s Fashion Week launches Colloquy in the city of joy, Kolkata in March. For delegate registration, click here.
