Marks & Spencer Kids has ushered in Spring Summer ’18 with a refreshing burst of color, and airy silhouettes, all with the hallmarks of quality and style they are incredibly proud of.

Mr. Pankaj Kapoor; Head of Marketing – Reliance India, says, “Marks & Spencer is proud to be associated with the Juniors Fashion Week in India. If there is one element which represents the soul of Marks & Spencer Kids SS18 collection, it is the Denim – undeniably, a key fabric for the season. Denim has been crafted for both boys and girls in all its glory in the form of bottoms, dungarees, slip dresses, denim pinnys and topwear. Another interesting concept called the “Holiday Shop” unique to M&S is infusing high fashion in vacation wearables. The “Holiday Shop” will contain fun fashion looks from frilly swimwear and breezy dresses for girls to nautical-inspired graphic tees and boardshorts for boys.

Looking at the M&S SS18 collection in entirety, Boys’ wear is inspired by the still strong athleisure trend popular among young adults- vibrant clean colors, technical fabrics, underpinned by sports aesthetic. Equally spiffy is the Girls’ wear which sees romantic bohemian influences with seasonal trend details such as ruffles, smocking, floral prints in a palette of cornflower & pale jade shades, together with palest Melba and bright pink highlights.

Junior’s Fashion Week deems this wonderful notion of educating the juniors about the fashion technicalities while having a handful of fun and cherish-able memories because it is a firm believer of the popular quote by Kate Spade — ‘Playing dress-up begins at age five and never truly ends.’

Focusing on juniors aged between four to fifteen years, the event brings with it, immense vivacity and energy of the children’s’ fashion & lifestyle industry.

Beginning its Spring-Summer 2018 journey, Junior’s Fashion Week debuts to the city beautiful Chandigarh in February, and moves on to Chennai in March, followed by Kolkata in April, Mumbai and Pune in May, New Delhi in June and ending the season with Bengaluru in July. What makes Junior’s Fashion Week stand out among the lot is the fact that it believes in grooming juniors by building their confidence and eliminating their camera and stage fear. Well, what could be better?

The workshop is moderated by experts and is an introduction to the grand showcase that ensues. It is specially designed by the JFW team to groom the junior models to make them runway ready and instil confidence and aptitude to be a junior model. Junior’s Fashion Week had a lovely journey in 2017.
